Hi, Warm-hearted Stitchers! Do you know of any need for mats crocheted out of plastic? There used to be so many ministries, women's prison and seniors' homes in Ohio that made & donated plastic mats, that plastic mats were seen across the country and the local need was covered. In addition to the plastic being water-proof, it's a great way to re-use the plastic! Your thoughts on acceptance of plastic mats here? They could be combined with cloth blankets, too.

Hi Jennifer. At this time, none of our receiving charities have asked for, nor recommended such. If someone in the group wants to take the ownership of an additional “project” and manage the instruction, supplies, collection and donation, I more than welcome it.
