BIP85 is a feature that allows you to create up to 10,000 segregated sub-accounts from a single Bitcoin wallet seed phrase. You may wonder why you would want to do that. There are many reasons. One great one would be to setup a wallet for a family member that both you and they have access to. That way, if they lose their credentials for their wallet, you can restore it for them.
