Hey there - we have good news and bad news. Good? Our house sold in 2 days. Bad? We'll be packing like crazy to get out on time - really cuts into riding time! Getting prepared already made us miss wonderful days..... Good? We're moving close to the Blue Ridge...you know, all those roads just made for motorcycling Nirvana....Bad? We have to haul all our stuff to get there! We need to find a place to live, too! At any rate, we've enjoyed our rides with this group - good bunch of people - looking out for each other, fun to go places.... Once we get a place, we'll let ya'll know and maybe you can meander our way.... because life is good up on the Ridge on a motorcycle....

Here is a really good weather site I found. The GFS model looks good up to 3 oclock.

Fingers crossed that the storm holds off until late afternoon.

I reworked the route to my house and it says I should be home by 1:00 giving over an hour in breaks, according to the Windy weather site. All three models show the storm is still in the western parts of DFW.

Boss man(over at Paradigm) says I might have my baby back by next weekend! Woohoo!! Throttle sensor, everything else checked ok.
You guys keep an eye on things tomorrow...don't get caught in a hailstorm ??

This morning it looked doable. now all the models on windy have us in the storm before we get home. Ill have to say no to this one.

The NAM model looks kinda scary with the colors off the chart.

Yeah I don't want to deal with any rain either, man...2 weeks in a row :(

Since the prediction can change at any second, we are waiting to see what it looks like tomorrow morning...hanging in there until then.

Kaufman County storm is reporting that the first squall line will be hitting between 10am and 1pm.

The potential is there, for sure but so far...nothing!
I'll never forget that storm we went through in the Hill Country way back when. It was a hot day, felt great! Then more recent that one in Arkansas! There was a tornado going on back home as I recall. Good times ?

The storm hit here right when they said it would at 1:00. We probably could have done it but I did not want to play chicken with a storm getting home.
