Six mile round trip is 4 miles (or more on numbered forest service trails) then 1/2 to 1 mile of terrain like this.

My wife tells me she took our dog when she did this hike. He is pretty long legged so I do not know about shorty leg dogs in the boulders - your choice.

BRING:

Clothes for temps in low to mid 60's* and 5-15 mph winds
Trekking poles (have rubber tips for traction on the boulders)
