Chama River -- mostly class I & II, a few class III - 3-days/ 2 nights

Chama River is a small dam-controlled river in north-central New Mexico. I have not been on it but have read that, especially this year, it is best done by inflatable kayak, canoe if you can handle some whitewater, or rafts of 12' or less.
Here is BLM information about the river
US Forest Service info
A kinda funky You Tube video
This lady has way more information and personal tales than you may want to read all of.
Paul Sheya will be taking over this permt so I'll leave it to him to post more details and select participants. All participants will start out on a Wait List and be added to the trip from there.

Boat the Moab Daily

We're going to the Moab Daily because Susan Capps bought herself a new boat and it needs to get wet. Besides - it's being delivered to her at Hittle Bottom at 9 am...
So let's go help her celebrate a new boat by everyone bringing a boat (or friend with a boat), lunch and sun gear. For those who want to meet us at the river: we will meet at Hittle Bottom at 9 am, run our shuttle and launch.   Anyone coming from GJ - meet at Starvin Arvin's in Fruita at 7 am.
(This is not the Moab Daily - but the picture suited....)

Full Moon Float and Potluck

Bring your boat (or friend with boat), clothes to boat in, food to share, family and come float the Colorado River under a full moon (or at least the rising of the full moon).
Meet at the Redlands Parkway Boat Launch at 5:45 pm to offload boats and start the shuttle. We will end up in Fruita on the EAST SIDE of the bridge (not at the State Park)

Hike Good Vibes/Second Thoughts/Upper Twist N' Shout

This is a duplicate of my other hike on WSA, just incase you are only a member here.
Today's hike will be a out and back approx. 3 miles with a 200' elevation gain. This hike is rated as intermediate due to some steep sections and some areas where the trail is unmaintained (primitive). We will be moving at a pretty fast pace, at least 2-2.5 miles an hour.
