Hi, I’m David Pizarro, a Navy veteran and outdoor enthusiast. I started Making Strides over 3 years ago as a way to bring people together through hiking, camping, and exploring the beauty of Albuquerque and beyond. For me, the outdoors has been a place of healing, growth, and connection, and I want to share that with others.

•Exploring Nature: We hike everything from popular trails to Albuquerque’s hidden gems. We also mix in camping, rafting, and other outdoor adventures.
