Bears & Woods (1.47m)

What an experience that was ! I can't say I wasn't warned (thanks to Trish / Pat) and I did try to recce it last week but was met by three cows across the gateway. This meant I didn't get to see the route through the woods. Needless to say we won't be doing this one again. It was interesting and adventurous. Thanks to Sue for creating a stick from a fallen branch for me to use, it helped a lot. We did turn back as I couldn't get those cows out of my head from last week. We made it back out and on to the cafe which was a haven. Lovely food and drinks. It was really lovely to meet three new members, what a test of endurance they had. Thank you all for coming and I promise the next one will be easier and more like our usual ambles.
